Use naphthalene balls
Put naphthalene balls in the corners of your rooms or near the places where lizards hide. The smell of these balls will irritate them and force them to leave.
Use Garlic Cloves
Place garlic cloves near the corners of the room, door and windows. Their smell will repel lizards. Placing them near table fans will be better to serve the purpose.
Place Eggshells
Eggshells play role in keeping lizards away. So do not throw them after using eggs in the kitchen. After drying eggshells with tissues, place them in the corners of your rooms. Their strong aroma will discomfort lizards and drive them away.
Keep your Under-Sink Cabinet Clean
Under-sink cabinets play a role in the growth of lizards. They lay their eggs in damp and warm places like under-sink cabinets. Regular cleaning and keeping them dry will stop growing lizards there. Use newspaper etc., to keep those places dry all the time.
Use Peacock feathers
Since peacocks are natural predators of lizards. Placing peacock feathers at locations of their hiding will help drive them away. Use fresh feathers (less than 2 years old) for this purpose.
Use Black Pepper
Place crushed black pepper powder wrapped in cloth, in the corners of your room to get rid of them. It has been noted that Lizards dislike the black pepper smell too. You may also spray water mixed with black pepper powder.
Use Coffee mixed with Tobacco
Take some moist coffee powder and mix it with some tobacco and make small balls. Stick these balls on toothpicks and place them near their hiding places (corners of rooms and spots of their emergence). Lizards will consume them and will die.
Use Fly-Paper
Use fly-paper near tube lights, entrance areas, and places where they are usually seen. Lizards will stick with the fly-paper which can then be thrown away.
Use Onion Slices
Onion smell is a strong irritant and Lizard dislikes such aroma. They will be repelled by placing onion slices near entrance (doors, windows, etc.) areas or the marked places of rooms in your house.
Spray Antiseptic
Make a mixture using 2 spoons of Dettol (antiseptic), the juice of one onion, a spoon of citric acid, and water. Fill your spray bottle with this mixture. Spray this three to four times a day for a couple of days and this will force lizards to leave the place due to the irritant smell of this mixture.
